To say that it has been one of the most anticipated thrash albums of the last few years would be an understatement, but after 5 years of tons of touring, and even an unexpected lineup change, Exodus are finally ready to unleash their long-awaited twelfth studio album and follow-up to Persona Non Grata.

The album is titled Goliath, and will be released on March 20 through Napalm Records, making this the band's first album to be released through the label.  It's also their first album since Exhibit B: The Human Condition to feature Rob Dukes on vocals after he returned to replace Steve "Zetro" Souza.  The sick cover artwork and track listing can be seen down below.

You can also stream the first single "3111" down below.  According to the band, they were going to premiere the music video for it, but it was too brutal for YouTube, and in a statement by Gary Holt, the two revisions of it were still too brutal, so they're working on a couple more revisions, where one is more tamer to appease YouTube, and the real brutal version will be premiered off-site.  WALTZ IT UP!!!!

After taking much of 2025 off, Lamb Of God are returning in full force this year with quite a bit of touring, and that also means a new album, which has just been announced.  The band's long-awaited tenth studio album, and follow-up to 2022's Omens, is titled Into Oblivion, and is set for release on March 13, just on the eve of the band's upcoming mammoth North American headline tour.

The full track listing and cover art can be seen down below, and the obvious first thing that's noticeable is a brand new logo.  I know many of you are going to be getting your whiny asses in a bunch over something as minimal as the new logo, but you will be happy to know that the music is still pure Lamb Of God, which is what really matters. 

There have already been two singles that the band previously released from the album, but to go with the announcement of the album, the band have unleashed the third single for the opening title track, along with an accompanying music video, which can be streamed below!  Lamb Of God is BACK, baby!!!

It's not very often that you see bands, especially internationally established bands, announce purely Canadian tours, so it's always special for us Canucks when that happens.  Today, we got the news that Megadeth will be trekking across Canada from coast to coast in support of their upcoming final self-titled studio album and as part of their farewell tour.  To make this tour even heavier, they will be bringing Anthrax and Exodus along for the ride.  Now THAT's a thrashing night out!

The tour is set to kick off out west on February 15 in Victoria, and will hit several of the major cities while making its way to the east coast as far as Halifax and Moncton before wrapping up on March 6 in Quebec City.  Tickets go on sale this Friday, November 28 at 10 AM local time.  See the dates below.

Megadeth already have a busy 2026 on their hands with further global dates across Latin America and Europe, as well as a late summer North American leg supporting Iron Maiden.  Dave Mustaine recently said that the band's farewell tour will last for a good five years, which is no surprise because we all know the story with farewell tours.  Either way, this Canadian is going to kick major ass with three of the Big 8 of U.S thrash.

It's always exciting when a legendary band announces a tour, but it's even more exciting when that legendary band announces a tour of a corner of the world for the first time in so many years.  Since reforming in 2016, Emperor have been playing on and off mainly at festivals in Europe and other parts of the world and not doing lengthy tours.

After hearing the constant cries from North American fans for some more shows, they answered the call, and they have just announced that they will be doing their first North American tour since 1999 in the spring of 2026 dubbed Emperial Wrath.

It is a very short tour lasting for only 12 shows, which means if they're not hitting your city, you're gonna have to do a road trip.  The tour will begin on March 27 here in Toronto and hitting several major markets like Montreal, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Minneapols, Chicago, Nashville, and Austin before wrapping up on April 12 in Los Angeles.  On top of that, they have enlisted the special guest services of Blood Incantation.  Tickets go on sale this Friday, November 21 at 10 AM local time.

After having somewhat of a quiet year in 2025 with a couple of new recordings and select live appearances, Lamb Of God are set to kick off 2026 with a roundhouse kick to the teeth with their first pure headline tour in four years.  With Kublai Khan TX, Fit For An Autopsy and Sanguisugabogg in tow for the ride, it is sure to be one of the heaviest tours of the year.

Set to kick off on March 17 in National Harbor, Maryland, the tour will last for 27 shows before wrapping up on April 26 in Boston.  Tickets go on sale this Friday, November 21 at 10 AM local time, with the pre-sale beginning today (Nov 18) at noon local time.  Get ready for some brutality!

2026 is powering up in a big way, and AC/DC will be continuing their PWR/UP Tour with dates across North and South America.  The tour begins on February 24 in Sao Paulo, Brazil and will wrap up in Philadelphia on September 29.  These very well might be the band's only dates for 2026 and the last dates for the PWR/UP Tour, so catch them if you can.

2026 is already shaping up to be another monster year with so many huge tours being confirmed.  That being said, Iron Maiden have just announced a much-anticipated North American leg of their Run For Your Lives World Tour, which commenced earlier this year, and is the first tour they did with current touring drummer Simon Dawson, who took over for Nicko McBrain after he announced his retirement from touring last year.  The tour is set to be starting on August 29 in Toronto, and wrapping up on September 25 in San Antonio. 

So far, only 12 shows have been announced with some pretty big gaps between certain dates, which means there might be some fill-ins to be announced.  The band previously announced a second round of European dates for the summer, with the rest of the world to follow.  2027 will see no Maiden activity.

Tickets go on sale on Halloween, which is next Friday, October 31, with the fan club pre-sale starting on October 28.  To make this tour even more epic, Megadeth will be joining as special guests, with Anthrax being featured on select dates.
