We're getting excited for the new Accept album The Rise Of Chaos, which comes out on August 4th via Nuclear Blast Records, and I know I can speak for all the Accept fans around the globe.  To keep the excitement up, the band have released the first music video for the album for the title track, which can be viewed down below.

The video was directed by Scott Diussa and it was shot was in still image mode and played at half of the frame rate, giving it a really cool look.  Check it out down below.

One of this year's most anticipated releases is the new Arch Enemy album Will To Power, which will be released on September 8th on Century Media Records.  Today, the band have revealed the cover artwork for the album, so check it out below.  This will be the band's second album with Alissa White-Gluz and the band's first album with Jeff Loomis on guitar.  The cover artwork was handled by Alex Reisfar.  The album was co-produced by Michael Amott and Daniel Erlandsson, but was mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren.  War Eternal was a real solid album, so I'm sure we can expect the same level of quality on Will To Power.  Stay tuned for more details, including track listing and first single to come soon.

Stepping it up from Inner-city Toronto, Canada by way of the province of Ontario’s pastoral Lakeland frontier of Peterborough, Mokomokai is a hard-rockin foursome whose thundering stage assault has set the Canadian rock and metal tour circuit alight since first forming in 2011. Critics and fans alike have been astounded by Mokomokai’s white-hot brand of rock and roll, which takes influence from the likes of Motorhead and Judas Priest, and pushes it fast and further into incendiary territory.

The protean power of Mokomokai’s explosive lineup starts with originals John Ellis on high-octane guitar and Halfordesque vocals matched by the heavy bottom of bassist Jermy Pastic. As Ellis and Pastic took to the road and Mokomokai’s reputation quickly grew, second guitarist Bobby Deuce (veteran of Moncton’s Iron Giant and Konjurer) packed up from New Brunswick and motored it to Toronto specifically to join forces. Mokomokai recently firmed up their assault with the addition of JJ Tartaglia (of renowned Toronto bands Skull Fist and Final Trigger).

Mokomokai’s debut LP ‘Poison Whiptail (on Toronto based Boonsdale records) is produced by iconic Candian hard rocker, DJ and studio master Ian Blurton (he of Public Animal, C’mon, Bionical and Change of Heart). Arriving in 2017, the album draws from the New Wave of British Heavy Metal and it’s golden era of the late 70’s-early 80’s, unleashing an unwavering blitzkrieg of stoner groove, raw hooks and Metal Godliness. The track ‘Walkin’ Boss’ summons the ultimate gunslinger to a trail of fire while ‘Poison Whiptail’ and ‘Heavy Metal Sky’ pulse with Painkiller hearts that vigorously resurrect the genre’s most glorious era. Guitars, bass, and drums were tracked with former THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER bassist Ryan Williams, while vocals were tracked with Joe Cincotta. About Blacktop Mojo:

Formed in the final weeks of 2012, Blacktop Mojo began cutting their teeth in the numerous country venues that Texas has to offer, but the guys never quite felt like they belonged. With each song they wrote, the vocals got less twangy and the sound from the amps became more gravelly and distorted until the guys had found their own unique blend of heavy southern rock. Through touring, the band has played with many national acts such as Bon Jovi, Sammy Hagar, Aaron Lewis, Daryl "DMC” McDaniels, Candlebox, Drowning Pool, Puddle Of Mudd, Smile Empty Soul, Audiotopsy, and Whiskey Myers.

After running the highways for two years in support of their debut album, I Am (2014), in July of this year the band loaded their gear in the van and made a trip to Sound Emporium Studios in Nashville, as well as FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, AL to make their sophomore effort entitled, Burn The Ships. In addition to the producer of the band's first record, Philip Mosley, the band brought in co-producer, Jimmy Johnson of the legendary Muscle Shoals Sound Studio as well as his long time engineer, Steve Melton (Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Rolling Stones, Bob Seger) to bring a seasoned sonic quality to their brand of raw, grungy rock.

The band caught the public eye in in April of 2016 when they released a music video for their cover of Aerosmith’s 1973 classic hit “Dream On” which has since gone viral with over 1.5 million views on YouTube.

Burn The Ships was released March 10th of 2017 garnering critical acclaim from both US and European press outlets including Loudwire, Revolver Magazine, Outburn Magazine, Kerrang!, Metal Hammer, and many more. Team Rock's Classic Rock Magazine, is quoted as saying "Blacktop Mojo might just be America's next big rock band."

Other notable highlights from 2017 include winning a contest to open for Bon Jovi at American Airlines Arena in Dallas, TX and being invited to SXSW by Gibson Guitars to appear on Sammy Hagar’s “Rock and Roll Road Trip” TV show on AXS. The band performed the Montrose classic “Rock Candy” with Sammy Hagar and Daryl "DMC” McDaniels of Run DMC for the show.

The band’s single “Where The Wind Blows” is currently being worked at radio, and has already cracked the Top 50 on the Mediabase Active Rock single chart. The band heads out on their first national tour this July, and new dates will be added throughout the summer.
