Blog author: Alex Stojanovic As everybody knows by now, back in November, Machine Head lost two key members with Phil Demmel and Dave McClain, leaving the future of the band in limbo. However, Robb Flynn said that their departures didn't mean the end of Machine Head. Just a couple of days ago, the band announced that it started holding auditions for a new guitarist and drummer. However, some exciting news just came out of the Machine Head camp, and that is that the band will be touring in celebration of the 25th anniversary of their debut album Burn My Eyes later this year, by playing the album in its entirety. And if that's not enough, joining Robb and Jared MacEachern for these special shows will be original drummer Chris Kontos and original lead guitarist Logan Mader. How cool is that, right? This is certainly going to be a huge nostalgia trip for fans since the beginning, and it will be great for new fans to get a glimpse of the past. The first leg will take place across Europe, with North American dates slated for November. |
