Calling all Grave Digger fans!  We have some good news for you!  It's been a long three years since we last heard new music from the German metal greats, and now they are ready to unleash some new material and all the details regarding their new album have been revealed!

The new album will be titled Healed By Metal, which is certainly very metal sounding and will be released January 13th via  Napalm Records.  The cover art can be viewed down below as well as the full track listing, including two bonus tracks that will be included on the digi-pack.

We're approaching the fourth and final quarter of 2016, so that means that tours for next year are already being announced. One special tour that will be hitting North America in the spring is a co-headline tour between Delain and HammerFall.

For HammerFall, this will be their first North American tour in seven years.  The tour will kick off on April 19th in our area (Toronto) and wrap up on May 18th in Atlanta.  Both bands will be touring in support of their new albums both released on Napalm Records.  

​HammerFall will be touring in support of their new album Built To Last, which will be released November 4th, and Delain is touring in support of their new album Moonbathers, which just came out last month.  Check out the full list of dates below, and stay tuned for ticket information

Just over a month ago, Iced Earth dropped the news that longtime guitarist Troy Steele was leaving the band to focus on family matters.  The band then began a worldwide search for a new guitarist and were accepting audition videos.  Tons of guitarists sent in videos, but we all know that only one person can be chosen, and the name of that person has been revealed today.  Ladies and gentlemen, the new lead guitarist of Iced Earth is called Jake Dreyer.  Jon Schaffer posted the following statement on the band's Facebook welcoming Jake to the band.

Just a few weeks ago, news and details of Metallica's new album Hardwired...To Self Destruct, as well as the new song "Hardwired" dropped like a nuclear bomb out of nowhere and we all went nuts.  The news and the song got everyone salivating and we were all waiting for another new song. Well, another new song is here.

Down below, you can watch the music video for the new song "Moth Into Flame".  The track still has thrash moments, but there's a bit more groove and melody in this one.  This one feels like it would've belonged on And Justice For All, at least in my mind.  Take a listen for yourself.

Is there any better way to start your day than by listening to some new music?  Didn't think so.  Well Alter Bridge have premiered another new song from their new album The Last Hero, which comes out on October 7th.  The track is titled "Poison In Your Veins" and it's pretty heavy, yet super catchy.

Alter Bridge have begun their U.S tour yesterday and they will be playing several festivals and headline shows before heading off to Europe in November.

There's no doubt that Testament's new record Brotherhood Of The Snake is one of this year's most anticipated releases. There's just so much excitement about it.  To keep the excitement up, the band have now released the official Brotherhood Of The Snake browser game, which can be played at this location.

It's one of those games that starts off pretty simple, but gets kind of challenging quickly.  It's pretty fun though.  You basically guide a snake around an empty space to touch a symbol with the Testament "T" on it multiple times, and the snake gets longer every time it touches the symbol, but if the snake touches a wall or itself, it's game over, so watch it.

To prove you're a worthy prospect of the brotherhood, play until your score reaches 666 points, then keep playing to be inducted and claim your global high score.

Even cooler is that the game's main menu contains a snippet of another new song and it sounds friggin' awesome!  That groove is just destructive as hell.  Which song?  I'm not sure yet, but we'll find out soon enough.  Give the game a go and pick up Brotherhood Of The Snake on October 28th.

For fans of In Flames and Hellyeah, November and December is going to be an exciting time as the two bands have announced that they will be joining forces for an extensive North American co-headline tour dubbed "Forged In Fire".  The trek will be hitting several major cities across the continent.  It will begin on November 12th in Orlando and wrap up on December 19th in Portland, Oregon.  Joining the two bands on the tour will be From Ashes To New and Source.

Both bands will be touring in support of their new albums. Hellyeah's new album Unden!able is already out and In Flames will be releasing their new album Battles on November 11th via Nuclear Blast Records.  In other exciting news, it was announced yesterday that In Flames have welcomed former Red drummer Joe Rickard to the band as their new drummer replacing Daniel Svensson, who left the band back in November.  Check out the full list of tour dates down below.
