 | Blog author: Alex Stojanovic If you weren't a fan of Machine Head's latest album Catharsis, (who am I kidding, nobody was), you'll be glad to know that there's a new song available called "Do Or Die", and this song goes right back to the band's aggressive roots. The music video is available for streaming down below. The video is the first to feature new members Waclaw "Vogg" Kieltyka (Decapitated) on guitar, and Matt Alston (ex-Devilment) on drums, even though neither of them played on the actual studio recording. Robb Flynn handled the guitars, while Jared MacEachern handled bass, but it's actually Carlos Cruz of Warbringer on drums. Lyrically, the song is pretty juvenile, but you can't argue that musically, this song is a classic Machine Head rager. The band is currently on tour in Europe on the first leg of the Burn My Eyes 25th anniversary tour. The tour will continue well into 2020, with a second and more extensive European leg in the spring, and a North American leg before that in the winter. |

The show will continue being in the "An Evening With..." format, where fans will get 3 hours of pure metal madness, and will feature two parts. The first part will feature a set full of Machine Head classics like "Imperium". "Halo", "Aesthetics Of Hate", and "Ten Ton Hammer", performed by Robb Flynn, Jared MacEachern, Vogg and Matt. The second part will see Logan and Chris take Vogg and Matt's places on guitar and drums, and playing Burn My Eyes in its entirety. The North American tour will kick off on January 16th in Phoenix, and run through February 22nd in Anaheim. Tickets go on sale this Friday, October 11th at 10 AM, with the Blabbermouth pre-sale beginning tomorrow, October 8th at 10 AM and lasting until Wednesday, October 9th at 10 PM. Dear loyal friends and fans It is with a heavy heart, a great deal of shock and a lot of disbelief that we have inform you that founding member, friend - and brother, Morten Stützer, no longer is with us. He passed away at the way-too-early age of 57 on the evening of October 2nd. He was surrounded by his family. We are absolutely devastated. Morten’s contributions to the band has been invaluable. Besides his incredible musicianship, Morten’s knowledge on so many aspects of life as well as his witty way of being will be so sorely missed. One thing that is not to forgotten however, is the legacy that Morten has left behind in this world. Morten’s contributions and work in music has brought so much joy and entertainment to so many people throughout the world - and will continue to do so for generations to come. In this fact, we find a great deal of comfort. Needless to say, this will NOT be the end of ARTILLERY. In Morten’s spirit, and as an ode to Morten, Artillery will soldier on. Morten will be missed, but never forgotten. Good bye, Morten. We send our condolences to Michael, the rest of Artillery, the entire Stutzer family, and their friends in this difficult time.
