Blog author: Alex Stojanovic If you weren't a fan of Machine Head's latest album Catharsis, (who am I kidding, nobody was), you'll be glad to know that there's a new song available called "Do Or Die", and this song goes right back to the band's aggressive roots. The music video is available for streaming down below. The video is the first to feature new members Waclaw "Vogg" Kieltyka (Decapitated) on guitar, and Matt Alston (ex-Devilment) on drums, even though neither of them played on the actual studio recording. Robb Flynn handled the guitars, while Jared MacEachern handled bass, but it's actually Carlos Cruz of Warbringer on drums. Lyrically, the song is pretty juvenile, but you can't argue that musically, this song is a classic Machine Head rager. The band is currently on tour in Europe on the first leg of the Burn My Eyes 25th anniversary tour. The tour will continue well into 2020, with a second and more extensive European leg in the spring, and a North American leg before that in the winter. |
