Blog author: Alex Stojanovic It's been three years since there has been new music from the Welsh lads in Bullet For My Valentine, so that means the time has come for a new album. The band's seventh studio album will be self-titled, and will be released on October 22nd via Spinefarm Records. Even though I was obviously not a fan of the last album Gravity, I'm not mad that they released an album of that type, but they have said in interviews that the new album would mark the return of a heavier direction. The album was produced by Carl Bown, who also worked with the band and Colin Richardson on the Venom album. You can see the full album track listing, album artwork, and watch the music video for the first single "Knives" down below. It's heavy for sure, but is it good? To me, I found it pretty stale and repetitive with not a whole lot of variation. The opening riff is pretty decent, and Matt Tuck's screaming sounds deeper than normal, but that's about it honestly. We'll see what the rest of the album has in store. Bullet For My Valentine track listing: 01. Parasite 02. Knives 03. My Reverie 04. No Happy Ever After 05. Can't Escape The Waves 06. Bastards 07.
