| Blog author: Alex Stojanovic 2022 is a big year for Def Leppard, as they are celebrating their 45th anniversary, and they have a couple of major events going on. The first being that they will finally be heading out on the Stadium Tour along with Motley Crue, Poison and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts this summer after having it being postponed twice due to the pandemic. However, with the celebration also comes brand new music in the form of their twelfth studio album. The band's first album since their self-titled album in 2015 will be titled Diamond Star Halos, and will be released on May 27th, giving fans some time to get familiar with the new tunes that they will be showcasing on the upcoming tour. The album will feature 15 brand new tracks, and the first single "Kick", is available for streaming down below. Def Leppard have always had diverse sounding albums since Hysteria, so it's no doubt that this will be another album offering up an eclectic collection of songs ranging from hard rock to pop rock. Two particular tracks: "This Guitar" and "Lifeless" will feature guest vocals from Alison Krauss.
