Scott will be releasing a live DVD entitled Swearing Words In Glasgow on November 13 via Megaforce Records.  The show was shot in Glasgow at the Arches Club during the U.K leg of his Speaking Words tour in June 2013.

Anthrax just wrapped up their Worship Music touring cycle last weekend at Knotfest in San Bernardino, California, and are currently working on a new album, due for release in 2015 via Megaforce Records in North America and Nuclear Blast Records in Europe.  Anthrax will also hit the road in North America as direct support for Volbeat in the spring of 2015.

Metalheads and nerds across Scandinavia and Germany, you guys better prepare yourselves to not mosh, wah wah wah wahhh, but laugh, because Anthrax's Scott Ian is bringing his Speaking Words tour to a few stops across Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Germany in January 2015.

I had the privilege of seeing Scott's show when it came to Toronto this past February at the legendary El Mocambo, and it was pretty much a heavy metal stand-up comedy show, without the music, which was fantastic.  I was belly-laughing.

Yesterday (Oct 26), Volbeat wrapped up a massive U.S co-headlining tour with Five Finger Death Punch, along with Hellyeah and Nothing More.  and will conclude the year with a short run across the U.K in November with special guests Hatebreed.  The band will then take a bit of time off before their spring tour, and will also begin piecing together material for the follow-up to Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies, which peaked in several countries at #1, and went platinum in Germany and their native Denmark.  The North American tour dates are posted below, and check out one of my favourite tracks from Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies entitled "Lonesome Rider" featuring guest vocals from Sarah Blackwood of Walk Off The Earth.  Great song.

The tour announcements for 2015 are still coming, and we got another great one to announce.  Volbeat have announced that they will return to North America in the spring of 2015 for a headline run.  Anthrax will serve as special guests, with Crobot serving as openers.  As we all know, current Volbeat guitarist Rob Caggiano was a member of Anthrax, so who knows if Rob will jam a song with Anthrax on stage.  We'll just have to wait and see.

When I first became aware of Volbeat, their music didn't fully grab me, but I saw them when they opened for Metallica in 2009, and I saw their appearance at Heavy T.O 2011, but over the last couple of years, Volbeat have been one of my favourite bands due to their versatility and diversity, and they're one of the most unapologetic rock bands on the planet, and they can pretty much tour with any rock or metal band.  I mean, what other hard rock band with metal influences will you hear incorporate elements of country, pop, mariachi and Western music into their music. That's amazing and unique.

Steve "Zetro" Souza comments on the video:  "Typical and sheer violence, straight-up aggressive and in your fucking face. Watching this video kind of reminds me of 'Fight Club', but awesome action and awesome violence, perfect for the title track of the new Exodus album Blood In, Blood Out!"

Blood In, Blood Out has sold 8,800 copies in its first week of sales, and reached #38 on the Billboard 200 chart, making it Exodus' highest chart position of their career.  It's great to see that record sales are on the rise again.

Exodus are about to hit the road across the U.S with Slayer and Suicidal Tendencies on a month long trek, including headline shows as well.  Dates are listed down below, so if this tour is coming to your city, be sure to go out and see it.

2015 is already piling up with a number of tours already announced for next year, with another one added, and that is the fourth annual Decibel Magazine tour.  The 2015 edition will be headlined by none other than At The Gates.  The lineup will also feature special guests Converge, Vallenfyre and one more special guest to be announced.  Past Decibel tours featured headliners Behemoth (2012), Cannibal Corpse (2013) and Carcass (2014).

At The Gates will release their long awaited new studio album At War With Reality on Oct 27th via Century Media Records. Even though this tour only has 15 shows, it's still a tour not to be missed.  Check out the list of tour dates below to see if this tour will be hitting your city.

"The track 'Panzer' is a marching song monster that is different than the rest of the more classical material.  We wanted a song that sounds like a steamrolling tank - straightforward in your face!  
'Panzer' will be a perfect live song 'cause of its intense beat, guitar crunch and the hypnotic chorus!  Traditional metalheads might not expect a track like this from us, but the record has a wide range from classical Accept/Priest metal up to speed metal/Motorhead influences - so this track sure stands out with its intensity."

It's impossible to not headbang to this beast of a tune.  It would work perfectly in a big arena or festival setting.  The chorus is an absolute crowd-chanter.  I'm really psyched for this album.  The lyric video can be streamed below.

You want some new music?  Well here it is.  The new German supergroup Panzer, featuring Herman Frank and Stefan Schwarzmann from Accept and Schmier of Destruction have posted the lyric video to their self-titled song "Panzer", which is taken off the band's debut album Send Them All To Hell, which is slated for release in Europe on November 28th through Nuclear Blast Records.
