Blog author: Alex Stojanovic Well, that took long enough, but I think it's safe to say that we all saw it coming. After a year of being without an official bassist, Megadeth are officially a full unit once again as they have announced that James Lomenzo is the band's permanent bass player once again. Last year, the band dismissed David Ellefson, then in came Steve DiGiorgio replace Ellefson's bass parts on the upcoming record. Then when it came time for the Metal Tour Of The Year, they brought Lomenzo just for the touring commitments. Since they already had a history with Lomenzo in the band, it made sense to make him a permanent member once again. Like I said, after two legs of the tour, it was pretty obvious that it was going to happen. |
