We're only over a week away from the release of Havok's much anticipated new album Conformicide, which comes out on March 10th on Century Media Records.  Today, the band have released the first music video for the album for the track "Intention To Deceive".  In the song, they're taking potshots at the media, who love to put their focus on the most trivial bullshit you could think of most of the time rather than focusing on more important events.

This summer just got a whole lot more brutal with one of the heaviest tours of the year.  This is not a drill folks!  North America will have the chance to see Slayer, Lamb Of God and Behemoth on the same bill.  How's that for a night out?  All the dates are listed down below.

The tour will begin on July 12th in Bemidji, Minnesota and run through August 20th in Phoenix, lasting for 24 shows over the course of six weeks.  The tour will also include three festival stops.  Behemoth won't be present at Cadott Rock Fest and Rock USA Festival, but will be present at Chicago Open Air.

Slayer's Kerry King comments on the tour:  "As metal tours go, this is the one that your fellow metalheads will be bragging about if you miss it! Not very often I get to go on tour where we are all friends to start. That being said, the potential for greatness at these events is mind-blowing.  I look forward to being a part of it, and hanging with old friends, bands as well as fanatical fans!  Let the festivities begin!!"

Tickets will go on sale this Friday, March 3rd.

Calling all Unearth fans!  The band is heading out on the road this spring for a headline tour and the band will be making a number of stops around the east coast of both the U.S and Canada, with quite a number of Canadian dates.  The trek will begin on March 31st in Portland, Maine and conclude on April 11th in Amityville, New York and will last for 12 shows in total.

Joining Unearth on this run will be Fit For An Autopsy, Exalt and Darkness Divided.  It's worth noting that Unearth and Fit For An Autopsy just toured together on the Fury Tour with Soilwork back in the fall.  Tickets go on sale this Friday.

Well, that took long enough, don't you think?  After patiently waiting for what felt like an eternity, Metallica have finally announced their much anticipated summer North American tour in support of Hardwired...To Self Destruct.  This is the band's first North American tour in 8 years as well.  This is guaranteed to be the biggest tour, not only of the summer, but this year because it's Metallica, along with special guests Avenged Sevenfold, Volbeat and Gojira.

The tour is set to begin on May 10th in Baltimore and run through August 16th in Edmonton.  The pre-sale will be available for the Legacy Fan Club members starting tomorrow on Valentine's Day at 9am, and pre-sale tickets to all Met Club members tomorrow again but at 11am, and the general on sale will be on this Friday, February 17th at 10am.  See the full list of tour dates down below.

As they mentioned on Monday, DragonForce would give a special announcement today regarding the band's new album Reaching Into Infinity.  The remaining details of the album have been revealed like the track listing and the release date.

The album is set to be released on May 19th through earMUSIC and the track listing can be seen down below.  The album was once again produced by Jens Bogren, who also produced Maximum Overload, and this will also be the first album to feature current drummer Gee Anzalone, who replaced Dave Mackintosh back in 2014.

​Florida death metal legends OBITUARY have shared the second single off their forthcoming, self-titled full-length. Watch the album art, lyric video accompanying "Turned to Stone" now via Loudwire at this location and YouTube. 

Loudwire comment: "As if thawing after 1,000 years entombed in ice, the song opens up with slow-churning riff and a low to high guttural scream from John Tardy, whose reputation as one of death metal's most unique and savage vocalists is never in question. Okay, so it's been three years since the last DragonForce album Maximum Overload, and we've been waiting patiently, and this year, we will be seeing a new album from the band.  So far, they have revealed the title and the artwork for the album. The album will be titled Reaching Into Infinity and the artwork can be seen below.  There is currently no release date yet but it is due for release this spring.  

The band have mentioned that there will be an announcement on Wednesday, so I'm pretty sure that will be the day the release date and the track listing are revealed.  As far as the cover itself goes, it's pretty much something expected with DragonForce.  There's a cyborg dragon with a portal in the middle of a city being torn to pieces.  It does look pretty cool.
