Blog author: Alex Stojanovic REJOICE! The mighty Judas Priest have revealed the details of their much anticipated new studio album, and have posted a new song for us to hear. The album will be titled "Redeemer Of Souls" and is set for release on July 14th in the U.K and July 15th in North America. This is the first album to feature new guitarist Richie Faulkner after original guitarist K.K Downing departed from the band in 2011. It is the band’s first studio album since 2008’s Nostradamus. Rob Halford described the new album as “hard, It’s heavy. It’s something we think our PRIEST fans will be thrilled with. We know we have a reputation to maintain, and we know we have to deliver something really strong and solid. The album is going to be full of all the great things you love about JUDAS PRIEST – I don’t think I can say anything more than that without being hung, drawn and quartered.”
“Part of the reason we don't hit these places, is that sometimes their local economy just can't afford to pay as well as a major city. As a band, MACHINE HEAD have always made the effort to re-invest in our band rather than pocket the money. We've done a lot of tours where we lost buttloads of cash, all in the name of giving our fans the best show of their lives. That is what is most important to us. “And with that said, we're probably gonna lose some moolah doing this club run. But you know what? The way we look at it, this is also re-investing in our band, by investing in the most important thing we have, YOU! It's giving the die-hard MACHINE HEAD fans, the Head Cases in the nooks and crannies of America, the places that are often starving for live music, something special and unforgettable. “And local bands you are welcome to jump on in every city. Because this will be the first time that we've ever played a lot of these cities, we're not even sure if we HAVE fans there, but we believe we can break even! “So Head Cases, all that I ask of you, is that if you live in or near any of these cities, and are excited about MACHINE HEAD coming to your town on the ‘Killers & Kings Tour...
