Finally!  After years of constant rumours and conflicting reports, it's the official AC/DC news that we've been waiting for.  Brian Johnson, Cliff Williams and Phil Rudd have all reunited with Angus and Stevie Young.

For the last three years, we've had Boy Who Cried Wolf syndrome with AC/DC with so many rumours regarding a reunion with Brian, Cliff and Phil, as well as the recording of a new album from so many unreliable sources.  While all the rumours were circulating, there was not one official peep from the AC/DC camp to confirm or deny any of them.

For the last few days, the band were putting teasers up on their social media, which got the hype going because it was officially coming from the band, and not some other sources.  Now, we have the first official bit of news regarding the future, with the official reunion with the classic members.  It also wouldn't surprise me if the new album turns out to be called PWRUP ​due to the hashtag.

Some very unexpected and sad news to report from the Trivium world.  It has been announced that original bassist Brent Young, who was in the band from 2001 to 2004, and played on the band's Blue, Red and Yellow demos, as well as Ember To Inferno, has passed away at the age of 37.  No cause of death has been revealed.

After leaving Trivium, Brent was out of the music scene until 2017, when he and fellow ex-Trivium bandmate Travis Smith joined forces in the new band Blacknova.  The band's status has been relatively quiet since last year, and now due to Brent's death, the status of the band is still unknown.

Exciting news for Sodom fans!  After four long years since the release of Decision Day, the band are ready to release their brand new album Genesis XIX.  The album will be released on November 27th through SPV/Steamhammer Records.  It was recorded at Woodhouse Studio in Hagen, Germany by Siggi Bemm and mastered by Patrick W. Engel.  The album artwork was also once again created by Joe Petagno.

The album marks the band's first album since Obsessed By Cruelty to feature four members, and the first album since Agent Orange to feature Frank Blackfire on lead guitar, who returned to the band in 2018.  In addition to Tom Angelripper and Frank Blackfire, the band is rounded out by new guitarist Yorck Segatz, and new drummer Toni Merkel.  You can check out the cover artwork and track listing below.

As I mentioned before, I thought that Decision Day was a pretty mediocre album, but the band's recent EP: Out Of The Frontline Trench, sounded promising.  Looking forward to hearing new Sodom tunes as always.

Well, things are looking bright for the future of Evile.  The band have announced that after being without a label for quite some time now, they have signed a brand new deal with Napalm Records, and will be entering the studio tomorrow (Sep 17th) to record their long-awaited fifth studio album, which is due for release in early 2021.  Just last month, the band announced some surprising news when they revealed that Matt Drake is no longer a part of the band, and they welcomed in Adam Smith of RipTide as their new rhythm guitarist, while Ol Drake takes over lead vocal duties and remaining on lead guitar.  Ol Drake released the following statement regarding Evile's exciting future.
