It's going to be another roaring summer with so many huge summer tours taking place.  One of those tours is Slipknot along with Marilyn Manson and Of Mice & Men.  The tour was announced a couple of weeks ago with just the cities, but now the full details including the dates and venues have been announced, all of which are posted below.

The tour will kick off June 9th in Salt Lake City, Utah and run through August 5th on their home turf in Des Moines, Iowa. Not only will the tour be hitting arenas and amphitheatres across the continent, but the tour will also hit the Chicago Open Air and Oshkosh Rock USA and Cadott Rock festivals.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 4th at 10am local time. Fan club ticket pre-sale will begin tomorrow March 1st at 12pm local time.  Citibank pre-sales will begin on Wednesday, March 2nd with local Live Nation and radio pre-sales will begin on Thursday, March 3rd.

When it comes to Def Leppard touring North America, they do North American tours pretty much every year, and they are always massive.  Last year, they did an extensive continental tour with Styx and Tesla, and now they've announced another massive summer run for this summer, and it will feature Tesla as special guests again, but instead of Styx, they'll be bringing out REO Speedwagon.  That sounds like an awesome tour. As you may have heard already, Judas Priest will be releasing their new live CD/DVD entitled Battle Cry on March 25th via Epic Records.  The DVD was filmed during the band's headlining performance at the recent Wacken Open Air festival in Germany this past summer.  There are also three bonus tracks on the DVD that were shot during the band's last European tour in Gdansk, Poland.

Brazilian power metallers HIBRIA have posted a new lyric video for their track 'Ashamed', which is off their fifth and latest self-titled full length released last August via Test Your Metal Records for North America and continues the band's venture with their very technical playing that’s fast, aggressive and catchy to follow 2013’s ‘Silent Revenge’. ​

Back at the beginning of the month, Def Leppard had to postpone their U.S tour dates that were scheduled for this month due to vocal issues with Joe Elliott.  He was told by his doctor that if he didn't rest his voice for a month, he could do permanent damage.

However, there's good news is that Def Leppard have announced the rescheduled dates for the shows originally scheduled for this month including the shows in Greensboro, North Carolina and Orlando, Florida that were originally scheduled in January.

At the moment, the cities that haven't been rescheduled yet are Atlantic City, New Jersey and Brooklyn, New York, but the San Antonio, Texas show isn't being rescheduled.  The rescheduled dates are posted to the left.  However, the rescheduled dates don't feature special guests Styx and Tesla.

The band are touring in support of their latest self-titled album, which came out in October and it's such a good album.

A couple of weeks ago, Disturbed and Breaking Benjamin announced that they're heading out together on a co-headline tour of North America this summer, but just the cities were revealed in the initial announcement.  Today, the dates and venues have been announced, and you can see them down below.  Special guests on the tour will be Alter Bridge and Saint Asonia, making this one of the biggest and best heavy rock tours of the year.  Check out the dates below.

The people in the cities announced for this special tour are some lucky bastards.  Metal Allegiance have announced a short 7-show run around the U.S east coast.  The Metal Allegiance lineup for this run will include Alex Skolnick, Mike Portnoy, Mark Menghi, Chuck Billy, Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal and Mark Osegueda.  David Ellefson unfortunately won't be there.

Support on the tour will come from Next To None, which for those of you that don't know is Mike Portnoy's son Max's band, and Chains Over Razors.
