 | Blog author: Alex Stojanovic There was certainly a lot of speculation surrounding who would fill the void left behind by Gene Hoglan when he departed from Testament. Everyone was naming candidates as they always do, and one of the most wished candidates was none other than Dave Lombardo, who already was in the band back in 1999 when they recorded The Gathering. It turns out that everyone who was wishing for Lombardo to come back had their wishes come true, because he is officially back in Testament. The band will hit the road this spring on the U.S Bay Strikes Back tour with Exodus and Death Angel, and this will be Lombardo's first tour with Testament in over 2 decades.
