Blog author: Alex Stojanovic Well that took long enough, don't you think? The day has come and Testament have revealed the bloody awesome cover artwork for their new album The Brotherhood Of The Snake, which you can see down below. Upon first glance, I was like "Holy shit!". The cover was once again designed by Eliran Kantor, who also did the cover artwork for Dark Roots Of Earth and The Formation Of Damnation. With the colours and the three-headed serpent, it sort of reminds me of The Gathering, and it sort of makes sense because Testament have said that the musical direction of the record was going to be a bit more towards that record. Another thing is that the classic logo is back which I love, but the "A" is chopped in half horizontally and the title at the bottom is sort of in the Dark Roots Of Earth font. Now we eagerly await the track listing and the first single. From my view as a fan, Dark Roots Of Earth is hard to top, but as we all know, Testament never disappoints. Whenever they put out a new album, you just know it's going to be great. In the meantime, check out the badass album cover down below. |
