Blog author: Alex Stojanovic Attention all fellow Testament fans! You're going to want to circle a very important date on your calendars because this date is the release date for the band's much anticipated new album The Brotherhood Of The Snake. The follow-up to the ass-kicking masterpiece Dark Roots Of Earth is set to arrive on October 28th via Nuclear Blast Records. It was produced by Juan Urteaga and it is currently being mixed by none other than Andy Sneap, who produced, engineered, mixed and mastered Dark Roots Of Earth as well. As far as the direction goes, Eric Peterson states: "It's kind of like Demonic and The Gathering, but a little bit wiser, I think. Chuck's not singing so death, I mean, he does some death stuff, but he's singing more like he did on the last record and then with the craziness of The Gathering or even the heavy stuff like Demonic." Keep your eyes open for more details like the album art, track listing and first single to be posted in the coming weeks. Testament will kick off the album's touring cycle with a European tour supporting Amon Amarth with U.K dates already announced and more dates to be announced soon. |
