The video for "Panzerfaust" features our Stam1na boys painted all in black contrasted with a white backround. Though the video has a straight forward, simplistic concept it is a great way to give focus on the musical content while giving fans some cool images of the band in full gear. The song itself shows some new elements to Stam1na's sound. Though they started of as punch-in-your-face thrash, in "SLK" (or at least in their single, "Panzerfaust") Stam1na has moved into more complex arrangements with symphonic elements and blast beats, borderlining black metal.
Stam1na takes pride in singing all their vocals in their native language (Suomi, aka Finnish), and we were glad to see that in "SLK" they kept that defining factor in their style. Stam1na will have a total of six full length album with the release of "SLK" on February 7th, 2014 through Sakara Records. Upon the release of "SLK" Stam1na will start their nationwide tour of Finland. You can check out the video for "Panzerfaust" below! -Kirsti Heitz |
