Tom Angelripper of Sodom has announced that he has parted ways with drummer Markus "Makka" Freiwald and guitarist Bernd "Bernemann" Kost. Makka was in the band for eight years and Bernemann was in the band for 22 years. At the moment, it is unclear whether Tom will continue to have Sodom be a trio or make the band a quartet, but he has mentioned that he's open to all options. The new lineup is expected to be revealed at the Full Metal Mountain festival and all other scheduled shows will go as planned. Once the lineup is solidified, work on the next Sodom album will begin as well. Stay tuned for more updates. |
