Slipknot have announced that their music festival and carnival side show: KNOTFEST will be returning this year and will be taking place on Oct 24-26 at the San Manuel Amphitheatre in San Bernardino, California, which held the kickoff of the Mayhem Festival last night, and promoter John Reese got on stage to announce the news of the festival. The lineup will feature over 60 bands. Some of the names appearing include Five Finger Death Punch, Danzig, Volbeat, Killswitch Engage, Anthrax, Testament, Black Label Society, Tech Nine, In This Moment, Carcass, Hellyeah, Devil Wears Prada, Butcher Babies, Suicide Silence, Hatebreed, DevilDriver, Whitechapel, The Faceless and Black Dahlia Murder just to name a few. Slipknot will perform two unique sets, and all ticket purchasers will receive a digital copy of the new album to be delivered on release date. The festival will also feature carnival rides, drum circles, a zip line, freaks, fire breathers and a Slipknot museum. |
In addition to the San Bernardino show, Knotfest will also be taking place in Tokyo, Japan this year on November 15 and 16, which features Slipknot along with Korn, Limp Bizkit, Lamb Of God, Five Finger Death Punch, Trivium and In Flames.
