Blog author: Alex Stojanovic The biggest metal tour of the year, which is Slayer's farewell tour, officially began last night in San Diego and will be running in North America from May until late August. The first leg will feature Lamb Of God, Anthrax, Behemoth and Testament and the second leg will see the same lineup, but Behemoth will be replaced by Napalm Death. In between the two legs, the band will headline a festival in Iceland. Following the second North America, Slayer will round out the year with a run across Europe in November and December, which they've announced dates for today. The tour will begin on November 1st in Dublin, Ireland and run across the U.K. and mainland Europe before wrapping up on December 8th in Helsinki, Finland. Special guests will be Lamb Of God, Anthrax and Obituary. See the full list of dates below.
