 | Blog author: Alex Stojanovic We're just under two weeks away from the release of Saxon's new album Thunderbolt, which comes out Feb 2nd. You can see our review of here. One of the songs on the album was revealed last year, which was "They Played Rock & Roll", which is a tribute to Lemmy Kilmister and Motorhead. Today, the band have premiered the lyric video for that song, which you can watch below. It sounds very Motorhead-ish and the lyrics cast back to the first time Saxon and Motorhead toured together on the Bomber tour in 1979. |
