 | Blog author: Alex Stojanovic The third edition of the annual Saskatoon Screamfest has announced some exciting news. That news is that an opening night has been added to the mini fest, which will happen on Friday, October 27th. This is also a first for the festival. This night will be dedicated to the more extreme side of metal and will feature some death metal, doom metal and black metal bands, and it will be happening at Vangelis Tavern. Headlining the opening night will be none other than Saskatoon metal titans Lavagoat, while Untimely Demise will headline the Saturday night. The full lineup for the festival is as follows: Lavagoat (Friday headliner), Untimely Demise (Saturday headliner), Hell Hounds, Wrathed, Between Now and Then, ChronoBot, In Ruin, Thalass, Agony Spawn, Scythra and Northern Fallout.
