After being pretty vocal for the past decade about not wanting to make a new album, Sacred Reich have announced that they have changed their minds. The band have re-signed with Metal Blade Records, and they are currently writing for what will be their fifth studio album and their first since Heal (1996). The album is currently due for release in 2019. The band is planning to enter the studio this summer to record the album. It's a long time coming, so expectations will be pretty high, but I'm sure that they will not disappoint. |
Just a couple of weeks ago, the band announced that they parted ways with drummer Greg Hall, and there is currently no announcement on his replacement. Who will take his place? We'll just have to wait and see. Stay tuned for more updates on the new Sacred Reich album and who will take Greg Hall's place on the drums. Looking forward to hearing the new material.
