Blog author: Alex Stojanovic A lot is going on in the Sacred Reich camp. Just yesterday, the band announced that tracking for their upcoming studio album Awakening is complete, and is now off to mixing and mastering. The album is due out sometime this summer on Metal Blade Records. However, the band just dropped a bombshell, revealing that there's another lineup change. It turns out that founding guitarist Jason Rainey had to step down from the band due to health reasons, leaving Phil Rind and Wiley Arnett as the only two original members left in the current lineup. Stepping into Jason's place is 22-year-old guitarist Joey Radziwill. Joey's dad Tim Radziwill helped record the demos for the new album before Dave McClain came back to the band for the tracking process. We're really looking forward to hearing the new album. The band will tour North America with Iron Reagan in May, followed by a bunch of European festivals in the summer, and an extensive European headline tour this fall. |
