| Blog author: Alex Stojanovic Well, it's official. The new Metallica album Hardwired...To Self Destruct is streaming in full the day before the release in video form. The remaining videos for "Am I Savage", "Halo On Fire", "Murder One", "Spit Out The Bone" and "Lords Of Summer" have all been posted and can be viewed down below. I'm not going to say what happens in the videos so you can see for yourselves, but musically, "Am I Savage" is very Sabbath-influenced with doom-y riffs and grooves. "Halo On Fire" and "Murder One" are both groove-oriented, while the former is one of the catchiest songs with great riffs and harmonies and the latter is Metallica's tribute to Lemmy. "Spit Out The Bone" is the track that many fans have been waiting for. It's thrashy and a complete riff-fest. Hetfield sounds gnarly as hell vocally. It's the most old-school sounding track on the record. |
