For the first time in nearly a decade, one of metal's favourite dynamic duos is back together: the Prince Of Darkness (Ozzy Osbourne) and Mr. Berserker (Zakk Wylde). They have reunited for a world tour, which will be starting this summer. Aside from playing a handful of dates with Ozzy on the Ozzy & Friends shows, this is will be the first actual tour that Zakk will be doing with Ozzy since 2008. The last album Ozzy released with Zakk on guitar was Black Rain in 2007. (feeling old, haha), and that was a fantastic record. Ozzy is also in the process of making a new solo album, slated for release in 2018 and it will feature the band he has now going forward, which is Zakk on guitar, Blasko on bass, Tommy Cluefetos on drums and Adam Wakeman on keyboards. Ozzy expressed his excitement by saying: "I'm so happy to be getting back on the road with Zakk, Blasko, Tommy and Adam. This is what I do. This is where I belong, on the road." Zakk threw in some humour into his statement by saying: "I'm really looking forward to the hardcore powahlifting training sessions with Ozzy as well as playing music in between sets of heavy squats, benching and deadlifts." |
