Blog author: Alex Stojanovic A lot has gone on for Obituary this year. On the good side, they toured with Hatebreed in the spring, and are celebrating the 30 years of Slowly We Rot. However, on the not-good side, they didn't have a good last couple of months because Terry Butler's 27-year-old daughter Jona was in a car accident, and unfortunately lost her life. Her two young sons were with her, and they suffered minor injuries, but my heart breaks for Terry and his family. Please consider making a donation at this GoFundMe page. Terry is on a leave of absence, and at this point, it is uncertain when, or if, Terry will return. However, the band are ready to head back out on the road, because they just announced a North American headline trek set to take place from late September into mid-late October. The tour will begin on September 27th in Baton Rouge, and runs through October 25th in Atlanta. Joining Obituary on this tour will be Abbath, Midnight and Devil Master. Tickets are on sale this Friday, June 28th at 10 AM local time. See the full list tour dates down below.
