Blog author: Alex Stojanovic After a decade of waiting, there is finally some new music coming from Nuclear Assault. The band are about to release their new EP entitled Pounder, and audio samples can be heard in the trailer below. The EP will feature 4 new tracks of old-school thrash metal and will be released on June 1st on drummer Glenn Evans' label Sidipus Records, and a deluxe vinyl edition will come out on June 29th via U.K crossover label Dry Heave Records. Pounder is the band's first release of new material in a decade since their last studio album Third World Genocide (2005), and it's also their first EP since Fight To Be Free (1988). Nuclear Assault are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year, and have a slew of shows lined up for this summer as part of their "Final Assault" world tour.
