Nordic Union Posts Audio Samples Of Debut Album

Nordic Union, the side project of Pretty Maids frontman Ronnie Atkins, has posted audio samples of four tracks from its self-titled debut album. The album will be released on January 29, 2016 via Frontiers Records.  Ronnie teamed up with guitarist Erik Martensson of Eclipse and W.E.T. and drummer Magnus Ulfstedt for this project.  The album also features guest guitarists playing guest solos on some of the tracks.

Musically and vocally, it doesn't sound too much different than Pretty Maids.  It's got the big hooks, heavy, melodic, catchy and epic riffs, amazing vocals, bulldozer bass and pounding drums, which is what I love hearing, and just from the four samples, which can be heard below, it looks like these songs won't be leaving our heads for quite sometime.

Pretty Maids are in the process of writing new material for the follow-up to their recent album Louder Than Ever (2014), which was a collection of re-recorded tracks from the band's late 90s and early 2000s period, as well as four new songs written from scratch.  Stay tuned for more updates on that.  In the meantime, check out the four Nordic Union samples to the left.
