After patiently waiting for what felt like an eternity, Metallica have finally announced their much anticipated summer North American tour in support of Hardwired...To Self Destruct. This is the band's first North American tour in 8 years as well. This is guaranteed to be the biggest tour, not only of the summer, but this year because it's Metallica, along with special guests Avenged Sevenfold, Volbeat and Gojira. The tour is set to begin on May 10th in Baltimore and run through August 16th in Edmonton. The pre-sale will be available for the Legacy Fan Club members starting tomorrow on Valentine's Day at 9am, and pre-sale tickets to all Met Club members tomorrow again but at 11am, and the general on sale will be on this Friday, February 17th at 10am. For this tour, Metallica are continuing to show their charitable side by announcing the All Within My Hands Foundation. This charity will raise funds to support national, local and Bay Area charities that each of the members support and they will continue to donate to music education programs and local food banks.
