Metallica Announces New Album, Massive 2023-2024 World Tour

HOLY HELL!  This is not a drill, folks!  Out of nowhere, Metallica surprised us all with the news that they have a new album coming out, and are heading out on a MASSIVE world tour next year with a MASSIVE concept and lineup.  The new album titled 72 Seasons will be released worldwide on April 14, 2023 through Martyr Recordings, and the music video for the lead single "Lux Æterna" is available for streaming down below.  The video sees the band playing in a dark room with video screens and strobe lights with camera revolving around the band, making it have a similar vibe to the "Hardwired" video.  Plus, Lars is playing his old-school Justice and Black Album drum kit (with two rack toms though).  You can see the track listing for the album down below.

On top of that, the band have announced a massive world tour in support of the album, which will take place next summer in Europe and North America for the summers of 2023 and 2024.  The weekend-warrior style tour will see the band playing 2 nights in stadiums where they play on Fridays and Sundays, and play different sets each night with no repeating songs.  Plus, they have a massive line of special guests for the shows, including Pantera, Architects, Five Finger Death Punch, Ice Nine Kills, Mammoth WVH and Greta Van Fleet.  See the North American tour dates below.  Get ready, METALLICA IS BACK!!!!
