Blog author: Alex Stojanovic Continuing the series of "Webisode Wednesdays", Metal Allegiance have posted the seventh album teaser for the upcoming self-titled album. This week's webisode features a teaser of the track "Wait Until Tomorrow". This is the second track on the album that's a duet. Singing on this track Dug Pinnick from King's X and Jamey Jasta from Hatebreed, along with Alex Skolnick on guitar, David Ellefson on bass and Mike Portnoy on drums. Other teasers that have been released so far include "Gift Of Pain", "Let Darkness Fall", "Dying Song", "Scars" and "Destination: Nowhere". There's also a lyric video for the track "Can't Kill The Devil". "Wait Until Tomorrow" carries a big Alice In Chains vibe with the darker riffs, slower groove and vocal harmonies, which are reminiscent of Layne Staley and Jerry Cantrell's, and Jamey adds the aggression to the track. The album is out on September 18th on Nuclear Blast Records, and a Metal Allegiance album release show is scheduled to take place the day before on the 17th at the Best Buy Theater in NYC. |
