The Metal Tour Of The Year, featuring co-headliners Megadeth and Lamb Of God, along with special guests Trivium and In Flames has been rescheduled for the second time. The tour was initially supposed to take place last summer. However, a certain ongoing pandemic had different plans for us, resulting in every tour that was scheduled for last year, and for much of this year to be either cancelled or postponed. Ever since the first postponement, the number of shows on the list has decreased. It started off as close to 50 shows, but now we're down to just under 30 shows, and it's scheduled to take place from August to early October, with the three Canadian dates still on the schedule, but at the very end. Even though I personally remain hopeful, part of me does not see shows happening in Canada this year at all. We'll see what happens. All previously purchased tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled dates, but people can also get refunds if they choose not to go to any of the dates that are rescheduled, and can also get refunds for shows that are no longer on the list. The tour is set to begin on August 20th in Austin, Texas and run through October 2nd in Quebec City. Fingers crossed. |
