Megadeth and Lamb Of God Announce Rescheduled Canadian Dates For Second Leg of Metal Tour Of The Year

After two postponements since the initial announcement in early 2020, the Metal Tour Of The Year, featuring Megadeth and Lamb Of God co-headlining, and Trivium and Hatebreed serving as special guests, had its first leg take place this past summer.  However, due to restrictions and the vaccination requirements for international travelers, and with reportedly some members of the touring party being unvaccinated, the three Canadian dates that were due to take place at the end of the first leg were postponed to this year.

However, now that things are starting to ease up for international travelers, which is a great thing, the three Canadian dates have been rescheduled for this spring.  The tour is scheduled to visit Montreal at Place Bell on May 17, Toronto at the Budweiser Stage on May 18, and Quebec City at the Videotron Centre on May 19.  We can only hope that the vaccine requirement for international travelers will be removed by the time the tour comes through.

The second leg will feature In Flames (who were initially supposed to be on the tour for the first leg, but had to drop off due to travel restrictions), jumping into Hatebreed's spot.  The second leg begins April 9 in Las Vegas.  See all the dates below.
