Blog author: Alex Stojanovic Earlier this year, Machine Head announced that they will be touring in celebration of the 25th anniversary of their classic debut album Burn My Eyes by playing the album in its entirety, along with former members Logan Mader and Chris Kontos. The band just kicked off the first leg of the tour in Europe, and they also recently announced the addition of two new full-time members to the band replacing Phil Demmel and Dave McClain, who exited the band last year. Those two new members are Decapitated guitarist Vogg Kieltyka, and former Devilment drummer Matt Alston. Ever since the announcement of this tour, fans in the US and Canada have been patiently waiting for the band to announce a North American leg, and now the wait is finally over. The band will be kicking off the new year (and new decade) with a North American tour, which will take place in January and February. Demand for this tour has been off the scale, so I can see the band taking this tour around the world. |
The North American tour will kick off on January 16th in Phoenix, and run through February 22nd in Anaheim. Tickets go on sale this Friday, October 11th at 10 AM, with the Blabbermouth pre-sale beginning tomorrow, October 8th at 10 AM and lasting until Wednesday, October 9th at 10 PM.
