The festival will take place at the Plaine Des Jeux nearby the Parc Jean-Drapeau on the weekend of August 6th and 7th. The lineup will include a diverse roster of bands from all ends of the hard rock and metal spectrum. A few names include Five Finger Death Punch, Disturbed, Nightwish, Volbeat, Breaking Benjamin, Mastodon, Blind Guardian, Black Label Society, Zakk Wylde, Ghost, Killswitch Engage, Sabaton, Alter Bridge, Kataklysm, Despised Icon, Carcass, Fear Factory, Animals As Leaders, Memphis May Fire, Suffocation and Saint Asonia just to name a few. Nick Farkas, vice president, concerts and events at Evenko states: "We are still working hard to establish a formula that can meet the expectations of metal and heavy rock lovers, and we believe that we've found the ideal location to present the eighth edition of the festival in 2016. We have a lot of confidence in the festival's potential, and we keep taking all the necessary steps to ensure that, as fans, the festival goers share an unforgettable experience all weekend long." The public on-sale will begin this Friday, February 5th at noon eastern with general admission pricing starting at $149.50 Canadian (approximately $105 U.S.). The prices shown include taxes and service fees. Weekend passes will be valid for two days and aren't transferrable. |
