The song "Checkmate", which was released last month was an awesome track, but now we've got the new album's opening track "Memento Mori" to listen to. The music video can be streamed down below. The song starts off really eerie and dark, and Randy goes back into clean vocal territory before it explodes into traditional Lamb Of God territory. Lyrically, the song is very apt for what's going on right now, with all the misinformation and uncertainty being pumped out by the media about the Coronavirus pandemic, and how if we keep paying attention to that, fear will just consume us. So, keep calm and crank this bad boy! |
