Blog author: Alex Stojanovic While Metallica is taking their time with the follow-up to Death Magnetic, you horror geeks might be interested to know that Kirk Hammett has announced the second edition of his annual horror convention Fear FestEvil, which was launched last year. The convention will take place at the RockBar Theatre in San Jose, California and will be a three day event from April 10th to 12th. The event was launched last year in San Francisco at the Regency Ballroom. There will be a VIP Party taking place at the Winchester Mystery House on April 10th, where guests will get to enjoy a night of "whodunnit" mystery madness, dining alongside Kirk, tour the eerie mansion and trying to figure out who killed who! Horror royalty will be giving twists, turns and clues as guests try to crack the mystery open. On Saturday, April 11th, and Sunday, April 12th at the RockBar Theatre in San Jose, Kirk will be giving a tour of his horror collection where he will be unveiling more from The Crypt publicly. Following the tour will be one hell of a metal party with musical performances from Meshuggah, High On Fire, Orchid, Agnostic Front, Blues Pills and Asada Messiah. Kirk comments on the event: "It has always been my intention that Fear FestEvil events carry both the weird and the loud, and what better way to achieve another extension of what we want to do than eat dinner in a haunted house while solving criminal acts before a weekend of super kick-ass music?!" |
Tickets for the Fear FestEvil will go on sale this coming Monday, January 12th.
