  | Blog author: Alex Stojanovic Hold up! Do NOT go to bed just yet, because we got a new single from Judas Priest to listen to. The song is called "Panic Attack", and it comes from their long-awaited new album Invincible Shield, which will be available on March 8, 2024. This is the first taste of brand new Priest music that we have gotten in 5 years since the release of Firepower. Vocally, Halford is sounding incredible, and the man is 72. Sonically, the production is right up there with Firepower, thanks to Andy Sneap and of course the guitar work between Glenn Tipton and Richie Faulkner is on point with majestic and turbo-charged (pun intended) riffs and solos that bring back vibes of Painkiller, Defenders Of The Faith and Firepower. It just goes to show that not even Parkinson's can slow Tipton down. After 50 years of heavy metal, the Priest machine is still running full steam. Look for Priest to commence touring in support of Invincible Shield next year! |
