Iron Maiden Premiere New Single "Speed Of Light"

Good morning fellow metalheads!  You want some new music to start your morning, well here you go!  After 5 years of waiting, a brand new song from Iron Maiden has arrived. "Speed Of Light", the first single from the band's long-awaited new studio album The Book Of Souls, which comes out worldwide on September 4th, can be streamed below. This song was one of the several collaborative efforts on the album, written by Bruce Dickinson and Adrian Smith.  I love how the animated video is an homage to video gaming, showing the evolution of gaming from the 70s. to the present day, with Eddie as the main character.  One of my favourite parts of the video is during the solo, the fight between Eddie and The Beast pays homage to Mortal Kombat.  As far as the song goes, it has the classic feel from the old records mixed with the feel of the recent records, and Bruce is sounding great vocally.

Look for Maiden to hit the road on a worldwide tour in support of The Book Of Souls in 2016.  In the meantime, crank "Speed Of Light" down below and be sure to pick up The Book Of Souls on September 4th.  UP THE IRONS!!!!
