Speaking of which, the band have announced a second North American leg of the tour after the first one back in the summer of 2019, which will take place in September and October of 2022. According to manager Rod Smallwood, they are making some upgrades to the production to make it "more spectacular than the acclaimed original show". The tour will begin on September 11 in El Paso and wrap up on October 27 in Tampa. Providing direct support on the tour will be Trivium on the September dates, and Within Temptation on the October dates. Maiden have always been about providing different and safer ways for fans to buy tickets. This time, they're giving fans the chance to get first access to tickets through Ticketmaster's new Verified Fan platform, in an attempt to avoid scammers, and registration is open right now, and will run through December 5th at 10 PM ET. The Verified Fan pre-sale will begin on Wednesday, December 8 at 10 AM local time, and there will also be the standard Iron Maiden fan club pre-sale, which will begin on December 7th at 10 AM local time. All pre-sales will end on December 9th at 10 PM local time, and the general on-sale begins on December 10th at 10 AM local time. Before this tour, the band will spend the summer lighting up Europe, and will then prepare for North America with an appearance at Rock In Rio in Brazil, and then one show in Mexico.
