Blog author: Alex Stojanovic As if there weren't already a bunch of great releases already slated for 2020, here's another one. Havok will be releasing their fifth studio album, and the follow-up to 2017's Conformicide this year. The album will aptly be titled V, and will be released on May 1st via Century Media Records. The track listing and cover artwork can be seen below. The artwork was created by Eliran Kantor, who has done artwork for Testament, Hatebreed, Soulfly, Bloodbath, Hate Eternal, My Dying Bride and Atheist just to name a few. It will also be the first album to feature new bassist Brandon Bruce. Just to go on a bit of a side street here. It dawned on me that Havok seems to go through bassists the same way that Trivium has gone through drummers over the last decade. I don't see Brandon Bruce lasting long either, but I could be wrong. Sorry for digressing, but it was just an observation. Regardless, we're looking forward to hearing new Havok. I honestly wasn't all that impressed with Conformicide, so we'll see what V holds in store. V track listing: 01. Post-Truth Era 02. Fear Campaign 03. Betrayed By Technology 04. Ritual Of The Mind 05. Interface With The Infinite 06. Dab Tsog 07. Phantom Force 08. Cosmetic Surgery 09. Panpsychism 10. Merchants Of Death 11. Don't Do It |
