Blog author: Alex Stojanovic Wow, this is a rough week. 4 days ago, we lost AJ Pero of Twisted Sister, but now we learn that former Death bassist Scott Clendenin has passed away today. What's more insane is that he was only 47. According to former Death manager Eric Greif, Scott faced some health issues over the last few years. Everyone knows Scott from his work on The Sound Of Perseverance, and he was also in Chuck Schuldiner's other band Control Denied for three years from 1996-1999, before being replaced by Steve DiGiorgio. The only recording he was a part of with Control Denied was their 1996 demo. Eric Greif posted the following statement on Death's Facebook page: |
Our deepest condolences go to Scott's family, friends and fans in this difficult time. R.I.P Scott (1967-2015)
