Blog author: Alex Stojanovic Some real sad news to report. It has unfortunately been announced that Randy Rampage has died at the age of 58. Rampage was the former frontman for Annihilator who sang on Alice In Hell and Criteria For A Black Widow, but he was also a member of Canadian hardcore outfit D.O.A.. His cause of death is currently unknown, but news of his passing broke yesterday on the Facebook page of the documentary Bloodied But UnBowed, which focused on the evolution of punk rock on the North American west coast from 1978-1983. The post reads: "Tonight sometime after 7pm, Randy Rampage left us to reign in the heavens. A punk legend has moved on. And because he shared himself with you, please share a moment and think of Randy Desmond Archibald aka Rampage. We love you Randy." We send our condolences to Randy's family and friends. His work on the two Annihilator records and the stuff he did with D.O.A. will be remembered for years to come. R.I.P. Randy (1960-2018) |
