Blog author: Alex Stojanovic It may have only been four years, but it still doesn't seem like that long. There's some unfortunate news that just came out of the Evile camp, and that is that lead guitarist Piers Donner-Fuller has stepped down as lead guitarist. Piers came into Evile in 2014, replacing the one and only Ol Drake, who left behind some big shoes to fill. Over the next four years, Evile were still active with playing sporadic shows, but not touring. According to a message on Evile's Facebook page regarding Piers' departure, which you can see down below, they've stated that the reason for the departure is personal commitments making the band not be as much of a priority for him. The good news is that the band have said that they will continue. The band's statement reads as follows: "Unfortunate news to post today. Piers has left Evile due to having other personal commitments that mean the band can't be as much of a priority for him so he has decided to step down as lead guitarist. |
