Blog author: Alex Stojanovic Man, it's about time! After eight long years, Evile have finally announced their long-awaited fifth studio album. The new album will be titled Hell Unleashed and will be released on April 30th via Napalm Records. The track listing, album artwork and first single can all be viewed down below. The last time Evile released an album in 2013 with Skull, I had just graduated college. As I mentioned before, Evile were a huge part of the soundtrack to my college days. Between then and now, the band went through a lot. Ol Drake initially left the band in 2013, and the band brought in Piers Donner-Fuller as a replacement. They then did some shows around Europe here and there up until 2018 when Piers left, and then Ol came back. Then last summer, another big change happened when Matt Drake announced his departure, and Ol stepping into the frontman shoes while still handling lead guitar duties. Replacing Matt as rhythm guitarist is Adam Smith of Riptide. To get a taste of Ol's vocal style, which he described as a much more aggressive style, check out the thrashy-as-hell title track down below. Evile is BACK! Bow down to the THRASHER!
