Blog author: Alex Stojanovic We're only 10 days away from the release of the new Destruction album Under Attack, out May 13th via Nuclear Blast Records. Today, the band have premiered the music video for the title track, which can be streamed below. The narrative shows a guy getting up one morning starting his day, goes to the local church, does a quick prayer, then leaves and we all assume he's heading to work. He then gets ambushed by two thugs, but he manages to escape and begins running through a building, only to get ambushed by the same two thugs later. He breaks free again by punching one out and grabbing the other thug's gun and shooting him. This whole time, he's carrying a suitcase, which he assume contains work-related things. At the end of the video, he arrives at his destination, what was to be a job interview. He then opens the suitcase, revealing that inside was a bomb set to detonate in 5 seconds. He then crosses himself one more time before the bomb detonates. The video also shows computer generated shots of the band playing in a city that looks destroyed with sparks and fires going on all around the band. Really cool. |
