Blog author: Alex Stojanovic Don't you love it when internet trolls and haters get owned? Well that's exactly what the new Destruction song aims to do. The track is titled "Second To None" and is the first full track to be heard from the band's new album Under Attack, which will be released on May 13th via Nuclear Blast Records. The lyrics in the song tackle the issues of cyber-bullying and internet hatred, and how cyber-bullying has caused many people to take their own lives. Schmier says about the song: "The lyric video of 'Second To None' explains itself. The problem with all the hate on the 'Net is getting more and more present and meanwhile it also has certainly affected our music scene." The ending sees the band paying tribute to the late Keith Emerson of Emerson, Lake & Palmer, who recently died from suicide due to cyber-bullying. Watch the video down below. Plenty of aggression in the track, as expected with Destruction. |
