Blog author: Alex Stojanovic OH HELL YEAH BABY!!!!! Look out folks because it looks like Death Angel are ready to unleash their new studio album this spring. The album is titled The Evil Divide and it will be the band's eighth studio album and the follow-up to The Dream Calls For Blood. The band have posted a countdown on their website that says there's 99 days left to go as of today, so that means the album is going to drop on May 27th via Nuclear Blast Records. The album artwork is down below. Now the artwork might not be as artistic as the artwork for Relentless Retribution and The Dream Calls For Blood with the wolves, but it still looks great with the evil moth. To me, the artwork reminds me a bit of the Killing Season artwork because it's a simple cover with a black background with something evil looking in the center. I also think that the band might be going back to basics on the new album, judging by the artwork. The album was recorded at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Florida with producer Jason Suecof, who also produced Relentless Retribution and The Dream Calls For Blood. Also on the band's website is a new song teaser and it just sounds monstrous and destructive as hell. Click here to listen. As of right now, Death Angel have no upcoming tour dates, but with The Evil Divide set to come out in May, the band should be announcing dates soon, so keep your eyes peeled for those. More info on the album including track listing and first official single coming soon. Keep checking back here. |
