Blog author: Alex Stojanovic It has been since 2017 that we had new music from Cannibal Corpse. The death metal kings used all of last year to work on what would be their fifteenth studio album, and the follow-up to Red Before Black, and now, it's ready to be unleashed. The album is titled Violence Unimagined, and will be released on April 16th via Metal Blade Records. The album artwork, as always, was done by Vince Locke, and to me, it looks like an extension of the Red Before Black cover, mainly because the background colour is green. The album was also once again produced by the band's longtime producer Erik Rutan. Violence Unimagined track listing: 01. Murderous Rampage 02. Necrogenic Resurrection 03. Inhumane Harvest 04. Condemnation Contagion 05. Surround, Kill, Devour 06. Ritual Annihilation 07. Follow The Blood 08. Bound & Burned 09. Slowly Sawn 10. Overtorture 11. Cerements Of The Flayed At the moment, it is unknown whether Pat O'Brien, who has been dealing with legal issues since 2018, was involved with the new album, but it's kind of unlikely. The first single "Inhumane Harvest" is currently playing on SiriusXM Liquid Metal, and will have its online premiere tomorrow. |
